CABERNET FRANC
The 2017 vintage displays all the characteristics of a beautiful Cabernet Franc. Harvested the third week of October, the Elysabeth Vineyards’ Cabernet Franc exhibits all the beautiful qualities of some of the best in the world. Like the Meritage, this wine was raised in French oak barrels for 15 months.
Our Vines
The Cabernet Franc shows great promise and is slowly becoming the signature grape of the Hudson Valley. The vines of a Cabernet Franc are hardy and can withstand most winters, summers hot enough to ripen the fruit, and autumns long enough to bring the fruit to phenological ripeness.
