Nestled in the Mid-Hudson Valley

Our Story

Elysabeth vineyards at Canoe Hill is the inspiration of proprietors Mindy and Neil Grossman.

Established in 2013, and named after their daughter, the vineyards sit on a spectacular property located in Millbrook, New York.

ABOUT THE PROPERTY

The centerpiece of the property, a magnificently renovated colonial home that dates back to the 18th century, stands out against a backdrop of towering pines, maples, and oaks. Manicured gardens and now vines producing select varietals of wonderful red and white grapes have added to its beauty.

The Inspiration

TO FURTHER HIGHLIGHT THE BEAUTIFUL PROPERTY, EACH WINE LABEL SHOWCASES THE STATELY ELEGANCE OF THE HOME AND VINEYARDS ILLUMINATED IN THE DAYLIGHT BY A GOLDEN SUN AND DUSTED AT NIGHT BY CLEAR SKIES SPARKLING WITH THE NATURAL BEAUTY OF THE STARS.

Our Family

Neil Grossman had an idea that great wine could be created in the Hudson Valley region of New York. Years earlier, Neil and his wife Mindy had chosen the region because of its natural beauty. Over the years, Neil began growing fruits and vegetables and came to realize the land was rich and could have the potential to create great wine.

He started small but soon realized that the wine being produced was of such a high quality that it rivaled wines produced in some of the most well known regions, both in the states and internationally.

As the vineyard grew, so too did the business. Elysabeth Vineyards is truly a family affair, with operations overseen by Neil and his daughter Lizzy, the vineyard’s namesake.
